Lake Naivasha is one of the few fresh water lakes in the Kenya Rift Valley, which is situated at an altitude of 6,200ft. Beyond the lake sits the Kinangop and Aberdare mountains, which reach up to 13,000ft. Behind the surrounding hills of the camp lies Hell’s Gate National Park, which is rich in game, geology and beautiful scenery. Further down South Lake Road is Crater Lake, home to a large stand of flamingo which can be seen circling the water’s edge. |
